OBJECTIVE: Corona wanted to reconnect with its Mexican roots, retelling stories about what made Corona to be an original driving force of the Los Angeles Chicano culture. SOLUTION: Corona partnered up with LA icon, West Coast Customs, on a promotional endeavor that celebrated one of the earliest instances of Latino influence in Los Angeles, the "Low Rider Car Culture". WCC designed a Chevy Impala named "Mas Fina", and we told this story to millions of viewers in Los Angeles and around the world. OBJECTIVE: Modelo wanted to connect with Bay Area drinkers by telling compelling "Fighting Spirit" stories and activations. OBJECTIVE: Pacifico was first discovered 30 years by surfers traveling to the Baja in Mexico, and the brand did not want to lose this connection to the culture. Further, the brand needed a little bit of a refresh to stay contemporary and relevant in the OnPremise channel. SOLUTION: We teamed up with legendary surf icon, Rob Machado to develop a new Pacifico Tap Handle, which delivers an element of "new news" to the brand and also directly leading to increased consideration and purchase occasions.
